Feta cheese
4 hamburger buns
Directions:
Hamburger Patties
Place hamburger in deep mixing bowl, add onion, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, hot sauce, liquid smoke, and salt and pepper. mix with hands, and form into large patties. (should make 4 good size patties)
Set grill to 350, and cook through. When close to done, add feta cheese and let melt.
Toast hamburger buns lightly.
Tomato Aioli
In a small blender or food processor add tomatoes, mayo, cayenne, and garlic powder. Pulse until smooth. Spread onto both sides of toasted buns.
Caramelized Onions
Melt butter in sauce pan, add onion, cook on medium for about 10-12 minutes and add apple cider. Let simmer for an additional 10 minutes on low/medium until onions are brown and liquid is cooked off.
Add a generous amount to bottom burger bun that is spread with the aioli, add cooked patty, bacon, lettuce and top bun.
